After working for a home care company as a Liaison Nurse for ten years followed by four years
as a Sales and Marketing Manager for a high end retirement community, Deborah obtained her
real estate license and started a new career. As an Associate Broker for 18 years, she spent the
beginning of her career at an award winning real estate company, starting in the Relocation
Department as a Corporate Relations Officer assisting seniors who were ready to make the
transition from home ownership to retirement living in the Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse NY
areas. Looking for a new challenge, she changed positions working the last ten years as an
Office Manager and Corporate Recruiter winning awards for excellence.
Giving back to the community is important to her and she spent many years as a Rotarian
earning the prestigious Paul Harris award, and sat on her local Chamber of Commerce as a
Director. A member of the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors, she has served on many
different committees over the years.
Deborah has continued her real estate education obtaining many designations such as
Accredited Buyer Representative, Graduate Realtor Institute and Seniors Real Estate Specialist.
In 2018 Deborah became the Contracts Coach for Keller Williams in the Western New York
area. Once a month, she conducts a field trip where new agents meet her at a property and she
teaches them on the information that they need for the property data sheet which is the basis for
a listing agreement and for entry in the Multiple Listing Service. Thought the month, she spends
her time working with new agents holding classes on how to correctly write contracts,
specifically a listing agreement with a seller and the required documents that are needed. She
also holds classes on how to write sales contracts and the documents and riders that go along
with each type of real estate and the requirements and documents for each type of mortgage.
In 2018 Deborah became licensed as an Associate Real Estate Broker in Florida and along with
her daughter Nichole, is able to assist buyers and sellers there as well. As a full time associate
broker, she is detail oriented and looking to assist clients in the Western New York and
Sarasota Florida area who are looking for their special home.
On a personal note, Deborah and her husband Jim are avid real estate entrepreneurs and enjoy
spending time with their three children and grandchildren.
